You need the brake booster hose and theres one that connects to the brake pedal I think. Otherwise you won t have ac, emissions, or cruise control, also no heat and Im sure theres something else im missing.

leave the intake and brake booster lines alone

what u could do is hide the vac tree inside the cowl panel

might have to extend some lines but i know its been done

Btw, the map sensor I think is a barometric pressure sensor and reads the pressure around the car for altitude and gravity and adjusts the engine accordingly. You will need it unless you can somehow delete it.

Speed density system = MAP sensor = needs vacuum connected to the sensor.

Mass air/MAF system = BP sensor = no vacuum hose goes connected to the sensor.

It needs both. the ""MAP"" sensor looks like the "BP" sensor but does not use the vac hose on the nipple. The MAP/BP fits ALL these cars:

(Note that some are SD cars and some are MAF cars)

what you are deeming the map on your maf equipped car is not a map sensor even though it looks the same as a map.....it is a BAP sensor= Barometric air pressure sensor!!
