Default Installing front plate on bumper...

Ok, I finally received the classic Mustang license plate frames I was looking for. Got them through Amazon.com, if you can believe it!
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...=UTF8&v=glance
Autotecnica Chrome Vehicle Logo License Frames Mustang w/ Horse Logo (2 Frames) - $28.67 for both!

Problem is that while one fits fine on the rear I have just these little marks for holes on the front bumper. I had told the dealer I didn't want to drive around with just a bracket up front and no plate for the first month. So now i guess I have to drill holes in the front bumper?
Questions>
1. Do I need to install a bracket or can I just mount the plate to the bumper? Would rather do the former.
2. Will I need to drill into metal? What size drill bit?

3. The plate has just the 2 holes at the top and none at the bottom... will that make a difference?

Gonna take a look at some of your front ends now... include photos if you have any

Thanks for any help you folks can give!

Orion... I haven't done mine yet, either... but take a look in the trunk in the spare tire well. Seems to me I saw a little envelope with plate/frame hardware in it laying in there. Just a thought...

hehe..I have that same one! But the damn thing won't fit on the back and I am afraid that wind will end up breaking it on the front.

When I had the dealer [lotboy? With a busted jaw, wired together!] install my front plate, he just used tapping screws in the factory divots. First time through the car wash, and the plate was bent at about a 45 degree angle. So I went and got a chrome frame to beef it up a bit. Thing is, the bumper isnt flat where the plate goes. I wound up slightly bending the frame and licence plate to fit. Looks great, and no more car wash probs!
