2002 GT weird idle problems...
I have a 2002 GT(5 spd) and am having some idle issues with it. I had the clutch replaced late in the summer and the car has never been right since.
The car has a really rough idle when coming to a stop with the clutch pushed in or in neutral. The idle hangs around 1100 - 1200 until the car is completly stopped then drops to normal idle and is smooth(there may be a slight miss at idle but it's hard to tell). Tonight i stopped at the top of a steep hill, let the idle level out and then took my foot off the brake and rolled in neutral, the tach was climbing with speed. This baffles me, I didn't touch the gas and the rpm's were climbing as the speed increased. Also I have been noticing a real rich smell when i get on it hard, or possibly a bad cat smell. But there has never been a check engine light or any codes.
So far I have replaced IAC, changed fuel filter, plugs(used stock platinums), and changed PCV and hose. I have had the car at the dealer a few times, they did a power balance, injector flow test, and injector pulse or pressure(not sure about this one) and also a dynamic compression test and said all was fine.I have just been dealing with the problem, but i am also trying to sell the car and it's hard to sell something that runs like crap.
Could it be something to do with the speed sensor on the tranny, or a messed up throttle position sensor. I have read about a few other issues like this after the car has been tuned, but mine is stock except for a catback.

I asked about them at the dealer, and the mechanic said they wouldn't cause the problem i am having. So any other opinions if coils could be causing an issue like this. At first i thought it was plugs and coils as well, i changed the plugs but I don't see how coils could cause the engine to speed up while rolling in neutral.

I have checked for vacuum leaks, I might just pull off all the vacuum lines and replace them with new ones. Do they come as a kit or do I just buy the black rubber vacuum hose? How do I check the TPS, I know you have to check voltage but what wires do you check? And how would I check a cam position sensor and where is it?
