Dude,

You must be in my backyard almost. I saw the Merc last week between Tangent and Albany on Pacific Blvd/Hwy 99. I thought about going back and taking a closer look but was busy.

Yeah,That is where it is at.
I was at R&S today and seen it on my way back.
It's in pretty rough shape.

It might be in rough shape but it is still a GT Cyclone.

Yes true, But a MAJOR project for what they are wanting for it (they know the value and expect top dollar). It's a 302/auto

The bondo and other types of body filler on this thing was so thick I don't think a team of NASA engineers with a electromagnet would find metal.

The back window has been out of the car (and not covered) so long mold and grass was growing in the trunk.

This is something not many people know,A"coast" car is one that has had ocean mist (SALT) settle on it every night (unless garaged) since new. Even if it was garaged, every time it rains over there the salt still gets on your car.I have seen cars and trucks 2-3 years old with rust and paint missing from this.

But your right, I wouldn't pass on a 1970 boss 429 in this condition!

Here is the craigslist ad, LOL

GT Mercury Cyclone Fastback. All interior is there including center consoul. No motor or trany. It has been sitting outside and has your typical rusty floor pans. A good restoration project. For more info and pictures please e-mail $2500 OBO
