If can't fix. If cost for new one is bad. What about a external electric one. Reasonable cost for a small low fuel use like this and MG"s. Just get as close to gas tank as possible. Run wire and fuse it properly. Just hook two lines of motor fuel pump together if that is the kind it has. Just make sure of fuel pressure when ordering it. The Midget is a low,low pressure one. Never as can remember less than 5psi. One for say a Ford or Chevy carb type maybe to much and blow open the flost. Glad to hear running. Wiring on some of these car can be a nightmare. I hear Italian cars are bad.
