They get their bad name and rep from their white trash drivers... no maintenance, just beat on it all day.

You put 2k into a stock awd dsm, and then put 2k into a fox, evo, wrx,f body, etc and the dsm will always be faster. Cheap for fast, but they are seriously junky cars.
I am thinking you need to race some better cars, or stop racing 6 cylinder Camaros with 180,000 miles on them. I have yet to find ANY DSM in the whole St.Louis area that can crank out better numbers than even the slowest of my cars, all of which have been GM, or Ford. You put $2,000 into one of those POS cars and you're not even getting started. I've put roughly $2,000 into my mustang and you'de be lucky to touch me in that car with any DSM.

add another 0 to that $2,000 and maybe you're right, but you're way the hell off if you think $2,000 into a car like that can keep up with cars that have the same weight and a whole lot more cubic inches to go around to mess with.

* I take that back. I know one mix-matched DSM car in the area, but he has a 350SBC in his car and it's not even one car.. more like three or four different cars with a DSM in there somewhere.
