I have a cousin with one, or up until a few weks ago. He sold it for $1k, it wasn't running. When he bought it, it ran decent, pretty stout with an exhaust, etc. Then his trans went out, so he bought another trans (used) and that one lasted about a month before it managed to punch a hole thru the top of the transmission. No idea how that happened. They can be made fast, but do seem to have some issues with reliability. A friend of mine that used to have one and sunk a lot of money into his said that they use a lot of oil as well.
