Talk some sense into me!
I am thinking about going to the Dark Side and buying a 370z. Here is the reason:
I just spent 2 days changing brake pads. I wanted to have the rotors turned, but they are rusted on (all 4). I tried everything I could think of. Penetrating Oil, tapping for 2 hours around the studs, banging. I even bought a torch to heat them up. No luck.
I gave up trying to get them off and decided to just put in the new pads. I spun the right rear caliper for 3 hours before it finally started moving. left rear went in quickly. The car stops much smoother now.
I bought the car 2 years ago, from a dealership, it came with some crappy American Racing wheels. The chrome is pealing off, and it is a PITA to get the luggs on or off. American Racing said to take it the place that sold me the wheels, but I have no way to find out where that is. They have not been at all helpful, and I will never buy anything from American Racing.
I'm just pissy right now, and getting rid of this car keeps going through my head. Someone please talk some sense into me!
