Hello Im new to the Cobra but not the turbo sceene. I have a 1997 Cobra All stock But I'm looking for some real kick! Im going with a Holset HX40 turbo (rear mounted) My quistion is I wanna lower the comp without opening the motor (yet)! Well The only thing I can really do is put a thicker head gasket in. Well who makes it and how thick can I go to get say....9.5 or maybe a little lower? Also If I get a thinker head gasket will the Timing cover still bolt on ok? Intake will be pulled apart also. If anyone has any good info please inform me.

Whats the max power I can push safely tuned at the wheel? 400whp? Where talking stock motor and a real safe tune under boost!
