IMHO - get the turbo running on the motor as is, if she blows be ready with a forged bottom end motor with lower compression. Only thing worth money on the older Cobra motors is a $300 block, $300 crank, and maybe $75 set of cams. Everything else isn't worth much anymore even at the scrap yard. Basically don't be afraid to blow the first motor if you are already planning a replacement and you should be for any real boost from a turbo.
