Free weight savings?

Free weight savings?
For a daily driver in the Northeast, what can be taken out to save weight? Gutted trunk, plastic out of the fender wells, rear tire bumpers? And how much weight can I get rid of? Is it worth the time?

if you're in the northeast and its your DD, i would be putting weight IN the car.. snow hits hard..
you can always take the seats out.. i wouldnt waste my time if i were you, unless you went all out and got a new k-member, lightweight wheels, etc

i have a dd for when i need it
but you could potentially be spending all of this time taking out all these little parts that add up to 20lbs here, 20 there, etc.. it all really depends on how far you want to go. if its just you that goes in your car, i would take out all the seats and gut the trunk.. relocate the battery. get urself a lighter driveshaft, a new k-member, etc..
EDIT: your post about the seats beat me before i could post this ^^^!!!

Relocate your battery, trunk, spare tire, radio, door panels, seats, carpet, plastic inter. pieces, a/c compressor, k-member, light wieght wheels, drag brakes, side mirrors, lose some wieght yourself, dumps instead of full cat-back...etc. it all depends on how far you want to go, if you want a full interior, but still want wieght savings you have to make a choice of what you can and cant live without.
