Thumbs up 351w

i own a 1984 ford bronco that has a 351 windsor under the hood and i have to say that i swear by that engine. at 356,000 miles the harmonic balancer came apart busting out the entire front of my timing cover and lost all my oil. i drove it home over 340 miles this way with absolutly no oil in it. i replaced the balancer, timing cover with junkyard parts and a new set of lifters. under $150 and the engine now has 547,631 miles on it and still runs srtong. i've always ran castrol syntec 10w-40 oil and changed it every 8-10,000 miles. i have never seen a 302 make it past 200,000 without hearing a little chatter starting in the main barings. so yes i would most definatly recomend the 351 over the 302 any day for both reliability and hp.
