What matters is: on-the-market
Dodge has a 425hp 6.2L, Chevy has a 423hp 6.2L, and now Ford will have a 500hp 5.0L
Which is plenty fair if you ask me...How many years have Ford owners been cursed by the dreaded....v6 Mustang?
Honda 3.0L - 240hp
Nissan 3.5L - 300hp
Chevy 3.8L - 300hp
Ford 4.0L - 210hp
*sigh*

None of those engines should be compared to the Ford 4.0L. The 4.0L is a damn truck engine, the reason why it was chosen for the Mustang was for it's torque characteristics and reliability. Ford's 3.7L V6 is making 275hp.
