Default 01 bullitt heater core replacement

Honestly how difficult is this to do? Mines shot, leaking cooling inside my car, and i need to replace it asap.

well they certainly aren't easy to change out. if its anything like my 96 you have to take out the entire dash and set it on the seat. remove the steering column and do the same lay it down in the seat. unplug all sorts of harnesses, go into the engine bay and disconnect the hoses. i've done it once and it took me 4 hours. its doable, just time consuming.

It really depends on your skill level. If you feel like you know what you are doing and have a good set of instructions to go by, you should be fine. If you are really uncertain, then I would leave it to someone else. It is time consuming though. According to my database, a ford tech should be able to do it in 4 hours, a typical diy'er will be looking in the 5.5-6.0 range

It took me 4 hrs. doing mine and that was the first on ever if I can find a print out i will put it up it isnt a bad job though you have to remove the left inner fender liner to disconnect a bulk head connector.
