Yes, I realize that it's a tiny motor, but those numbers are not impressive at all. You can put a GT take-off muffler on a 4.0L to get that rwhp, and let's not even discuss the torque number. I guess some folks are willing to spend just under $2,500 for those kinda numbers.  |

The increase is actually identical to the X. A 42% increase on the 4.0L will put you square at 270...which, if I am not mistanken, is exactly the claimed RWHP. 42% is 42%...it is a great increase.
So we are looking at a quality product, with the same percentile imcrease in power (give or take a couple HP) for about half the price.
I was challeneged to show that you cannot find a system for $3500 or even $3000...here is one with a tuner for $2500 at your door.
Sorry, but these guys are doing it and STILL turning a profit. They have excellent reviews and are well supported.
So either ours are made in such ridiculously small numbers they cannot get the per unit prices down...or we are getting royally shafted on price...or a combo of the two (probably the latter).
Not trying to rub this in...but it is obviosu that, produced in volume, we could be buying $2000-2500 quality supercharger kits for our cars.
So why dotn we? It is not like there is not a market...there are GOBS of 6ers. Heck, 70% of Mustangs are 6ers.
