Build the GT up for the money you would dump into a cobra. I agree with ox.

Cobras have a little cult following and I don't know anyone that's bought a cobra and then traded it in for a GT. If you've already got lots of money in the GT just keep it. If you don't like your car and think it's time for an upgrade, do it.

After I get rid of this thing next year, I'll be getting a 04 Cobra but I'll also be back in California and it would be too much trouble to convert this car back over to smog crap.

If you are good at working on your car build the gt. If you are not good at turning wrenches just buy the cobra its easier to mod. Id feel better blowing up a 2valve engine than a 4 valve lol.

Go with a termi, especially if your interested in mods. Engine is already forged so that means you really wont need to sink in the money to take it out and forge it. A new supercharger on them will take you into the 600s easy! Your GT requires too much for lots of power that is just on tap with the 03/04s.

Yeah, 17K is actually a good price for all those SVT goodies that are on them, long as the mileage isn't too high. I'm actually thinking about getting one myself a year or two from now. I'm lookin' for sonic blue with less that 50K for 22,000, when I go to get one that is.

BTW, lets go Cowboys!
