Default Which exhaust sounds best on the V6

I m looking into doing a full exhaust in the near future. Although i m having trouble first of all finding long tube headers for my 1996 v6 5sp. Does anyone know any sites that have these for sale?

Also as far as from header back what would be my best bet to get that V8 sounding exhaust. I hear to many 6's that sound like a Civic and I hate it I want a deep muscle sounds not a ricer sound. What will give me the best sound and where can I get it from?

I had an 02 GT for a while and I had the SLP Loudmouth on it which was amazing but I dunno if that will be nice on a 6. So what you guys think is best to go with and where can I get it from

Well the only to get a V8 sound is to have a V8, a V6 will always sound different.

That said, when looking for exhaust for my car I checked out several systems and found IMO that Pypes with an X pipe produced the best tone.

Not sure where would be best to get headers from, It has been a long time since I bought mine.

Yea I know I won't get exact V8 but at least near it. I seen the Pypes system your talking about on AmericanMuscle.com so maybe Ill just have to check that out. I just wonder if it will bolt on with long tube headers

It is a bolt on to the stock headers, so you will have to do some cutting and modifying to fit the LT.

MAC LT's, MAC H-pipe with magnaflow cats and a magnaflow catback, then you'll have good sound and an actual performance gain.
