Default RE: adding a turbo

thanks, i think ill just go with the kit, i have an older car so i cant just get a tuner i have to get an expensive ass chip for it and they dont seem like they have the same preformance ajustability as a tuner. only problem is that I have an A4LD which is hard to find a kit for, but ill look some more im still trying to track down a turbo motor too, ive got another salvage yard im going to check in a few days.

And the A4LD transmission is the reason ford had to detune the Turbo Coupe...because its a weak transmission...

i assume that's why the la2's and 3's from the 5 speed cars are more desirable, cause they could tune the 5 speed cars better since they had a more durable transmission?

i dunno, my 8ua in my ranger out of an auto TC has a more agressive timing map than the LA3s, its weird
