there is no "kit", if youre looking for a simple bolt on, youre out of luck

but you can swap in a turbo engine from an SVO or Turbo Coupe, and do a little bit of wiring.

the internals wont hold the boost. you'd need to rebuild the whole bottom end.

"the whole bottom end" is kinda misleading since the only difference in the turbo and non turbo rotating assemblies is the low compression forged pistons. i have a 93 lx and it's still the dual plug motor with a turbo. pretty much there are 2 ways to turbo a stock motor. 1. you're gonna have to either get an aftermarket 5.0 mass air meter calibrated for 36lb injectors (you'll also need to get the injectors) or 2. swap to a turbo car's ecu (la2 or 3 from the 87/88 turbocoupes are the most common ecu to swap to) to have any way of tuning your motor. the first method (which im pretty sure my car has) is pretty much a bandaid, but is the easiest way to safely run boost on a stock ecu since you cannot tune it. you'll need an e3 or e6 manifold from a turbo car, a turbo, probably full exhaust since you'd have to get a downpipe anyway and connecting that to the stock exhaust would be very restrictive, intercooler and piping (this would be a very wise choice since even with forged 8:1 compression pistons from a turbo car, your compression is going to be around 9-9.5:1 because of the dual plug head and you don't want predetonation), valves from a turbo head fit right in our cars but require a valve job (but stock valves should be able to do 15 lbs of boost easy), and it would be really wise to get a copper headgasket since stock is not going to like much over 5-7ish lbs of boost probably. i'm sure there are more things i forgot to mention, but if i haven't scared you from this idea yet, i'd be glad to help you out more.

for the record, real turbo 2.3 motors respond well when you swap the dual plug roller cam we have stock or a ranger roller cam which is supposed to be bigger than ours. they can be found pretty cheap if you know where to look

thanks,

Jugador, what companies did you get the turbo parts for your car from, or would it be cheaper or easier to just swap a turbo motor in?

thanks.
