Im going to paint my calipers a red/orange hopefully soon then put black pony decals on them.

The pictures of your black ones make it look... sticky? Like, idk, just weird... Do they look smooth on your car?

Yeah, they look fairly smooth...idk. People notice them and like how they look and I'm pretty happy with them.

Works for me.

I used the duplicolor kit (17 dollars) and mine look rough. I sanded and cleaned the rotors of my 05 v6 but i mught have used too much paint or too many coats. Does anyone know what I should do, could i sand them and apply another coat? or what? I let them dry the reccommended 5 mins between each coat (on the back of the paint can) and they look bumpy , please help

I really need to do mine, I was just too lazy to take them off. Maybe Ill do it over the winter...maybe in silver with black or charcol ponies.

Its the same deal for doing the mounting brackets...as for getting them off I believe there are just 2 bolts but refer to a haynes manual for removing them. That book is an amazing investment.

WOW! I really likke them in silver...time for a repaint!
