I'll tell you what. Add a picture of the same size as the other pics of the completed hood scoop and I'll add it to our Tech Articles and How To's. I see the pic in your sig, but I'd like a close up and even a full car shot.
Thank you kevin, you now have a contributor tag. [sm=smiley20.gif]
If you notice, the tech section has a clean version that can't be posted in, but I have a link to this active thread at the bottom of the clean version.
Just to let you people know, 99-00 hoods are not the same as 01-04 hoods. The little indentures that he points at in the 4th pix do not exist. I know this because I just had one installed yesturday and they had to make holes to make it fit there.
You should be able to make a template outcardboard.First, put the screws and nuts onto the scoop so that they stick out. Then take the scoop and place it on the card board, push hard so that the screws that you went ahead and mounted to the scoop poke in the cardboard. Once you have done this, trace around the scoop and cut it out. You will probably have to cut out for the little honeycomb piece because it won't sit all the way down on the cardboard unless you do. Then just line it up on your hood, mark your holes and drill.
