You're talking about the IMRC's, i.e, SPI intake system. You're dyno sheet may say 230+ hp, but even with the mods you listed, and a really good tune you'd only be pushing 225bhp, which is about 191 rwhp. And this is all before the cam. And BTW, diablo chips suck, they're only 2 bank and the tune you can get isn't optimal. I think your dyno guy has no clue or his dyno is not calibrated and he doesn't know it. I would definately try another dyno shop, or something. So I'm gonna call B.S. still and I'm also gonna call you out and challenge you to come up to Greenville, SC on Oct 2. There's a V6 shoot-out going on. Well see just how real your numbers are there.

i have this problem where i cannot remember what i buy. i also have ported upper and lower intake, homemade ram-air, and some stuff i made in the garage. i would love to go to the v6 shootout but i don't have a liscense. there are other posts where i am saying i don't have one from a while back so i you know i am not backing down. my car pulled almost 170 rwhp bone stock and ran high 14s bone stock. my car weighs just over 3100 lbs with me in it and i weigh 225.

For some reason I don't wanna believe you still. If your car weights just over 3100 with you, that means you removed about 200lbs of stuff from your car. So what did you remove? And what kinda stuff did you make in the garage? That would add more weight ya know!? How and why don't you have a license?
i don't have a liscense because it is revoked until my court date October 7th. the reason why it is revoked is because i cancelled the insurance on a car that was totaled at the strip 2.5 years ago. i lightened the car by removing all the sound deadening material, the rear seat, everything in the trunk, the foam and **** in the doors, and aluminum driveshaft. i plan to further lighten the car with carbon-fiber hood and trunk lid, carbon-fiber racing seats and no interior carpet.
Matthockey knows his stuff. 230 to the wheels is kinda high but I have no reason not to believe him. And by the way, where did you get your cam and did you take any pictures on installation? I'm really interested into getting a cam because its relativly cheap and I heard it gives a nice bang for the buck. I'm not trying to make my car a dragster but just something that people would question it being only a V8. Like 270-280 BHP. I have some mods....MAC cold air intake,MAC air filter,MAC dual xhaust,70mm BBK T/B(w/spacer),MAC shorty headers,DiabloSport tuned chip..... Thats about it cant remember If I bought anything else or not. Well what do you think about a cam and which would you recomend?
thanks for the defense pipsblackstang. www.moanav6racing.com has the best selection for cams. if you e-mail them and tell them what you want they will recomend a cam to you. also, the cams they sell work best with the 1.73 roller rockers. were did you get the TB spacer/
