Pros/Cons - Appearance wise, everything looks better. The 17" wheels make for a better rides as well. Can't wait to see what the CAI and tune will do. Thats it for now.
Less than 50k original miles ... bought it bone-stock last year & completed the modifications myself. Daily-driven & still get 30 MPG (highway) on stock 87-octane tune @ 70MPH with the A/C on. Put that in your hybrid & smoke it.
RE: What's Your Mod List (See what others are doing)
My Mods! Not much, but I'm just getting started! Oh and keep the Do's and Don'ts going! I like seeing what other people thought about their mods!
Performance:
ASP 25% UDP
American Muscle CAI
Steeda Tri-Ax
SCT XCal 2 Tuner
9/16" G10 Intake Spacer
Cobra Front and Rear Swaybars
Aesthetics:
Autobadges 3.8 Emblem
IAC Restrictor Gasket
Painted Brake Calipers
Run in with a fence... Doh!
Do's - Well, with my few mods, my Tri-Ax was my favorite so far! Install was easy and quick on my own. It felt really notchy and took some getting used to, but I love ripping through the gears now! [sm=gears.gif]
Don'ts - I had heard all the things about don't get an eBay CAI, but I didn't have all that much cash after the shifter I ordered but I stretched it a little and went for the American Muscle CAI... Fitment was rediculous, I had to go out and buy my own hoses and tubes to get it to fit... Would have been only a little more to get a good BBK CAI from Autobadges. Oh, another don't is try and punch the throttle out of a corner when it's rainy... I did some uh... custom body work on mine, haha.
I always think the coming soon things are just people's wish lists, but I actually have these parts ordered and they're going to be installed soon! So... my Coming Soon list:
1x MAC Ceramic coated Longtube Headers
2x Flowmaster Original 40's
2x Magnaflow SS 18" x 4" Tips
1x BBK O2 Extensions
1x Pypes Stainless Steel Exhaust Hangers
1x GT Rear Bumper
And now the "Coming Soon" list
Full Suspension...
4.10s and T-lok (Possible 8.8 swap)
Ported and Polished Heads, Intake, All of it...
