Default Odd Engine Squeal (not the serpentine belt either)

I just got my 3.8 mustang a couple of months ago and love it. When I bought the car this sound wasn't there but in the last week and a half or so it started. It is a loud squealing sound that is worst when the car is started from cold and quickly quiets once the engine has warmed. And then on regular driving I hear a little chirp or small squeal once every couple seconds. I initially thought it was the serpentine so I quickly replaced the belt (which needed to be replaced anyways), but that didn't solve the problem.

It seems to be coming from the top and front of the engine so I was thinking it might be the water pump and the bearing went out. But the sound is really high pitched and not like any bad bearing sound I've ever heard. Plus the car only has 55,000 miles and water pumps should be replaced around 100,000, so I wasnt entirely sure.

Any thoughts would be great. I already looked through the threads and posts and nothing really helped. Thanks

alternator? Tensioner? Idler? Remove the belt and spin them and see if they drag at all

the synchronize is right below the cam sensor. if you want you can run the engine when it cold and listen for the noise and use a long screwdriver and place it right on the cam sensor and listen if the noise is from there. RyansQuick6 is also right it could be from there.
