Default What kind of exhaust set-up are some of you 4.2-4.3L guys runnin?

I want to run an x-pipe,
but the only one I can find for the v-6 is the pypes o/r or catted x...
I'm not a big fan of pypes however,
and would prefer a magnaflow...
Just can't find an x for the v-6...
Also workin on some bolt ons and just wanna see wut some of u guys have...

if you are planning on going o/r there is really nothing wrong with the pypes x. you could always get one fabbed up at an exhaust shop

I'm running a custom H on mine. I like Magnaflow high flow cats ( a pair of them).

If you are about to do it, have a shop just cut/fab true duals (no cross over), run a pair of high flow cats and mufflers of your choice.

Longtubes FTW! 4.2's like to breath. Something on the intake side would also help.

Here's my list:
73MM C&L MAF
70MM AccuFab TB
Helix TB Spacer
Motoblue Low Temp Thermostat
Pacesetter LTs
Fabbed true duals
Magnaflow cats

Suggestions?

lol, i was just about to say the same thing. I bet it would actually restrict some airflow with the larger TB you will be using.

forget the C&L and get an SCT big air or lightning with mafia extender. the TB spacer is usless.

pacesetter LT's seem very nice of the ones i looked at and handled. i like randon technology cats but that's just me. pypes mini cats are also good. goerlich Xcelerator mufflers are very nice not loud but more of a 350Z exhaust note to them with very good flow. might be alittle less money than the magnaflow mufflers although they are very similar. dynomax ultraflo and goerlich xcelerators are the same exact muffler made in the same factory so flip a coin between the 3. they all do sound good with LT's
