YES! That's exactly what that code means. Mine ran like sh!t when I would have that problem, which is why I bought a new gas cap and it worked perfectly.
Call the dealership and ask them.
Injectors don't go bad nearly as often as some of you people seem to think they do.

i dont doubt fords injectors, but thats what my problem is for sure, because of the proof i have. but i didnt have that code, sorry for my ignorance of that code too lol. try the new gas cap and see what happens
The new gas cap will solve your pressure code. The tank needs a certain pressure in order to maintain even gas flow. (I think so anyways.. correct me if im wrong)

Excuse me, I was looking at a Screamin' Demon coil, not MSD...Claims it produces a longer duration spark and allow plug gaps to be opened up to .060" - .065"....
I wouldn't waste the money. That and I believe if you read the entire "ad" they require the use of their plug wires because they have a 'button' style coil end that OEM wires won't be compatible with.

No, the pressure in the tank is a requirement for emissions standards, also used by the ECU to check for gas tank & fuel system leakage problems. Even gas flow is maintained by your fuel pump & fuel pressure regulator.

You're now vented through your vapor canister, not the cap itself, to a point. The cap will vent if the pressure in the tank gets too high. My biggest issues were when my tank would be low on fuel, then the code would show up more often, but when the cap finally crapped out, the code stayed on until I swapped in my stocker.
