Question Blown Cigarette Lighter Fuse?

Hey guys, I need some help. The other day I was using an electronic air pump to pump one of my tires because I had a flat. It gets power from the cigarette lighter, and I let it pump for about 20 mins. Suddenly, it shut off, and now whenever I use my cigarette lighter for anything (phone charge, ipod charger, even the basic cigarette lighter itself) nothing happens. So I think I blew a fuse.

Can someone guide me how which fuse it is and where to look? I want to do this myself, is it easy enough to just simply buy another fuse and bam, done?

Thanks!!!!

look in owners manual or on the fuse panel *maybe, its there on my other cars, but my stang doesnt have a panel so who knows* then buy a new fuse of the same size, and put it in...done....takes 10 seconds if you know which fuse to pull

this is for a 99 gt but i dont think yours will be any different than mine

so buy a 20A fuse and pull the one out and put the new one in....there should be a puller tool attached to the fuse panel, but if you dont have that, needle nose pliers work too

This diagram is exactly what i was looking for! Thanks!

yeah it doesn't have the fuses in the owners manual. I checked. I'll try this out and see if it's the problem. Idon't know what else would cause it to stop working other than that.

no problem....air pump blows the fuse in my car sometimes too... the fuses are sold in packs of like 5 so just hold onto them...dont go with a bigger fuse though, stick with what came in it

its in there trust me. look at the back of the manual in the glossary and look up "Fuses" and it will show you the page number. but yeah its the same diagram posted above

i have a question for you all kinda related to this, only one of my power ports works. so its not the fuse. it just stopped working one day while the other one stayed working.
its the one under the radio, not the one by the coin holder. took the panel off and the wire seems to be fine but it doesnt get power
