Difference is SSM will be a good quality build, and you'll actually get it.

Morona will take your money, come up with excuses, and three or four years later you'll see a non working motor, or part of your money back. He has a terrible rep for cheating, copying other peoples designs and claiming them as his own, and not putting together great parts for the money.

SSM FTW!

The long rod 4.3 has different rods than the 4.2, they put out more torque(according to tom) than the regular stroker rods, which are the stock rod lengths in 96+ 3.8's. You will also need the block to be bored .030" over for the 4.3, which if you are buying the shortblock from them they will take care of this.

A well built N/A 4.3L will put out more rwhp/rwtq than the mild 4.6L GT.

SSMS or RPM
only two ways to go.

With higher compression you could make 260rwhp, with compression for the turbo your probably going to see around 230-240rwhp. Of course you will then have a motor that will handle 600rwhp and need to start upgrading everything else such as fuel, trans, rear end, suspension.
