yeah if hes messed with rear ends and you trust him, go for it. def a big money saver

i wanted to get DETROIT TRUETRAC LIMITED SLIP FORD 7.5" + 3.73 gears .. do i gotta get new 28 spline axles ?

or is it better getting a 8.8 rear end ?

and 8.8 has a different gear ratio I believe something like 3.27 but dont quote me on that. If you plan on going fi down the line or making big power probably smart to just upgrade to the 8.8 now

blowing the spider gears in the diff, and rebuilding the clutch packs are two of the most common problems, another problem that i havent had a problem with

94-98 all v6s used 2.73, GTs used 2.73 or 3.08, cobras had 3.27s

99-04 V6s used 3.27s, some stripped 99 GT autos had 3.08s, all other had 3.27s, mach 1 and cobras run 3.55 (99 cobras might of been 3.27 i cant recall)

honestly if you have problems with a properly built 7.5, you should just skip over the 8.8 and go right for a 9 "
