quicksilver have you had any problems with your tlock yet? I've heard they can break with not too much power. And I don't feel like paying $500 for install either but not exactly sure how to do it myself and normally I would say learn by doing haha not on something that important though.

Ive had it in since last june and hadnt had a single problem (knocks on woods ) I would never try to undertake a task like that unless youre damn sure you know what youre doing and youve done it before.

Bottom line yes, t-loks break. You get what you pay for. I just dont beat the hell out of mine. Only a lil bit

Can you really feel the difference with the 3.73s?

Mine was $411 & I had to take the rear end out of the car and take it to them.

$411 =
Installing T-lok and 3.73s
Cutting/welding to straightening the axel
Cleaning
and painting with the rustoleum black.

$250 for just the gears I think.
I had to though, they're the only ones around.

Have fun installing that stuff yourself. I'll buy your engine from you when the rear end locks up and totals the car.

Some things are ALWAYS worth paying to have done by a pro, and gears is one of those things.

It's really that complicated to do? Ive seen installation steps on how its installed and it really didn't look all that complicated because having it lined up and getting the speedo corrected. But maybe ill just continue looking for a cheaper place to do it.
