I agree, I would learn to respect the cars initial power before diving into MORE POWER. A few have recommended visual or basic mods like exhaust, or gears, but I would just drive it the way it is for now. When you get used to the car, then you may consider maybe getting exhaust, tuner, gears(not recommended at this point, two wheel spin is different feel) etc... Baby steps, you have already had a bad experience, more power will only make matters worse.

Thanks for all the cut downs guys. I came here to learn about my car not how to drive. I know how its just that on that day i was doing the right way. Sure i was screwing around, and sure it was immature, but it hasnt happend again. Now if you guys want help me with my questions I would appreciate it.
You know, I was in the EXACT same place you were in when I first joined the forums. Although I suppose you've met some nasties; When I first came in I met a couple of the "nicer" guys like mygt500 and Legion5. With their help, a couple of embarrassingly immature and newbish questions, and the almighty google, I learned more about my car than I though possible.
First of all, as a fellow teenager, even with a V6 you don't want more power. I'm already scared to death of my power on the road, especially as inexperienced as I am.
While these older guys may be telling you that it's better to have a car that looks stock and opens up, I personally believe it's quite another case for teenagers. I'm in the market for a Roush kit, turning my car into a Stage 1 or Stage 2, and then I'll turn my focus to power. Just my personal opinion; We can kill ourselves with too much power, we get arrogant and think we're the **** with our cars.
But that doesn't mean we can't mod, we should probably just do the visuals first.
But to answer your questions, you can get a lot more power EASILY by throwing in a CAI and tuning to 93 Octane. Many people have different opinions on tuners, but I think I'm going to go with HyperTech or SVT when I come to that. A shaker system outperforms the CAI in the same department, cold air, but keep in mind the shaker's also a LOT more expensive. I suggest your first performance mods should be a Cold Air Intake, any brand, and a good tuner. Most tuners are pretty simple, a series of yes or no questions and what octane, ect.
Again, my personal opinion, I recommend you doing visual first at your age.

I think the problem is that you arrogantly brushed off everyones' warnings, then proceeded to tell them you've already almost crashed the car.
I'm 18, been driving for over 2 years, had my Mustang for longer than yourself, and I can tell you I'm still not even close to being experienced driving it.
The fact of the matter is that you are an inexperienced driver, you do not know how to handle even the power that's in your car now. Just because you can "power slide", burnout, etc. doesn't mean you know the cars limitations, and more importantly, your own.
There's a reason why most parents buy their kids v6 mustangs. I've had mine for 3 years and it's a great car. My older brother got a 98 buick century after he wrecked his GT and couldn't afford a replacement car .

Exactly... It's tempting to do fun (yet stupid) stuff when you get it that most people can't handle the car itself.
