Default Pro-Line vs Sport-Line Eibach springs for Vert?

Just wondering what you guys with the convertibles are doing for lowering.. i see that the pro kit drops the verts 1 inch while the coupes get 1.5.. why the difference?

Convertibles weigh more than coupes. And don't get the sportlines, you'll be dragging metal everywhere. Pro-kit is low enough, and be prepared to shell out $300 for new shocks and $200 for cc plates if you get the prokit.

Was going to make a similar thread. The Pro-Kit and H&R have similar drop springs and similar prices, what's the better deal?

And if I just got new Sensatrack shocks and struts, will that be fine for the drop?

I wouldn't get monroe shocks with a drop. If your want cheap shocks/struts do tokico hp's but if I could do it again I would have saved up the extra $200 for adjustables or bilsteins. Don't forget about cc plates too. $200 shocks $500 for the right shocks/sturts and $200 for cc plates. Turns out to be more than you think but well worth it. I would highly reccomend saving up the extra money and getting better shocks and struts.

The Sensatraks are already on my car. So you're saying I shouldn't drop it then?

Not saying that at all, I'm very glad I dropped mine. But when i was asking about shocks/struts when I lowered mine everyone on here had nothing but bad things to say about them on a lowered vehicle. They arn't made for a lowered vehilce so they will wear out so much faster and not preform as well as tokico or bilsteins either. The drop looks 10 times better and the lower center of gravity is great, it handles better and takes turns better. Overall just more fun to drive, but it doesn't ride anywhere near smooth just so you know.

I bottom out on some speed bumps and driveways with the pro-kit. Get the pro-kit... take out the isolators if you want it lower, but I'm pretty sure you'll be happy with the drop with them in.
