We have about 10 more weeks until we find out what we're having.

I really want to get the new Taurus SHO for her, but I think those Audi station wagons look cool as hel, and they're about $8k cheaper with more options and room.

Yeah but those sho's are pretty cool, and someone over on V6power broke into the 12's with a k&n drop in and some tuning.

Your going to love being a father Ryan, being able to teach a child and watch them grow is more fun than building a car.

You may see roll cages in a new light too now that your Cargo means a heck of a lot more to you whether in the mustang or not.

If you dont have one yet, get her a rocking chair! My wife always reminds me that I didnt take the hint and buy her a rocking chain or very nice recliner. Also have the car seat set up in your take home vehicle already a week or two before the due date so there is no panic and order a good meal for her after delivery as the hospital (Ours anyways) doesnt really care.

Your gunna love it ;D

I can't wait, I was scared at first because we're having a baby about a year sooner than I had planned, but it's not that big of a deal. Now i spend most of my free time reading everything I can about children lol

One of the first thing I looked at when we found out was safety ratings for our current vehicles, and one has to go while the other gets put away. I'll most likely buy at least one new car by the time the baby comes, and then maybe another one a year later, just kinda depends on where the economy goes and things like that.

I've already talked to a financial planner about a trust fund for college and making sure our homeowner's and life insurance are set up properly, the only thing I'm waiting to do is see how health insurance comes out, but that's very minor.

I'm already finding out how many people LOVE to give away their baby's stuff, I think we have 5 crib offers already, ton's of toys have already started to show up, all kinds of stuff. I'm the first one on my side of the family to have a child, but my wife is the 3rd one, so my family is going all out over the first grandbaby lol. First thing my mom said when I told her was "I'm calling your aunt, we're going shopping," my aunt won the lottery a few years back and her and my mom fly off to NY to go shopping at least 6 times a year, so we should get hooked up.

Not looking forward to the diapers and sleepless nights, but I'm really not as scared as I originally thought I would be, I think I'm really taking it in stride and I feel very comfortable with everything.

A. thats crazy that your aunt won the lottery, did you see any...repercussions from that??
B. I dont know at 18, but I think thats definitely important in being seriously ready to have a child, being comfortable and ready is important and I think means you are really ready. But like I said what do I know I'm 18 lol.

Well being ready just comes natural.

I was a father for 2 months, from late June to early August, then she miscarried. I was so siked up, but yet very nervous cause her and I are only good friends, not even BF/GF, just one of those things that happened, and yes I know, wear protection yada yada yada, learned my lesson here. But yea, I was a little scared, but not of being a dad, but telling my parents, she was the same. The miscarriage, even though it was for the best, had me screwed up inside for like a week. But life goes on.
