That's who I have, Geico...

I get horrible city mileage, but can't complain a bit about the highway mileage. Problem is, 90+% of my driving is city.

Well see now you've done me a great disservice.

I now have to reevaluate my future V6 turbo plans. I was banking on the insurance as the real determining factor (V6 turbo vs. V8 bolt ons), but now it's not really going to matter.

I use to own a 96 v6 and my insurance was higher than my current GT despite all my parents arguing over how its not and or shouldnt be cheaper.

Besides telling the OP to "leave it stock to buy a Gt" could also be changed to "Leave your GT stock and save for a cobra"

Gts have to much power? pre 99s especially are pathetic.

Pre-99's aren't worth it at all in my opinion. Because of their "GT" tag they sell for much more than New Edge sixxers, yet don't over near enough performance increase to justify the cost.

You're better off investing in a bolt-on New Edge sixxer, which will probably give the pre-99 GT a good run for its money.

When I bought this car a 01 V6 was next to it for 5k and I got mine for 3.8k. Most new edge v6s I see for sale are generally the same price or higher than a 94-98 GT.
I spent around 1700 in go mods.

I'm just going to hook onto this thread and ask a couple of questions since OP had already asked what to do with his.

I have flowmaster 40's with straight exhaust, and a CAI (not a K&N or BBK)

What should i do next performance/mpg wise? I'm thinking a tuner.
