Hi, I've read other posts with people who have had the same problem, and I've read about the trick where you tap on the motor while trying to raise the window to get it back up until my new motor comes in the mail. I was just wondering where exactly inside the door the motor is before I take the panel apart.

I had to change mine 4 years ago and from what i remember after you take the door panel off its in the lower part of the door frame. Its not hard to spot.
You can try hitting the door panel at the bottom while pressing up on the window switch. If that doesnt work then take the door panel off and actually hit it.

You really gotta hammer it, don't be afraid... I took the cheap way out... If I open the window all the way, I make sure I close it just a bit so the window isn't all the way down... it happened to a friend of mine that was working on my car (and we were about to have some huge t-storms) but he got it closed in time LOL... I'll eventually get it fixed haha

I read this post yesterday, and wa-la.. today my passenger side window got stuck down.
Guy working on my car (btw when he had it supposedly the battery also died..), said it could be the harness because when he would slowly open and close the door the window would close.. anyway.. not sure, motor or harness?
