Default valvetrain noise (i think) m90 swap

larger cam, and a m90 swap.. edit: SSM stage 2 heads also

got the engine back together not that long ago, and the very first time i started the engine it sounded like a diesel... i figured it was just the lifters not being primed yet (at first).. over the period of starting it a few times, the noise went away for the most part, but from time to time it gets kinda loud (like 'worry me loud'), but it doesn't seem like there is 'as much' noise as when i first started it..

i'm running royal purple break in oil in it right know.. not sure if that could be the issue, i kinda doubt it..

i was told that a rocker could have spinned on its pivot point.. so i went through the lovely task of removing the m90 and intercooler tubing this morning to have a look..

nothing seems to be out of adjustment, nor do i see how it could have gotten out of adjustment.. zero lash.. took one of them off.. i dont see how i could have put them back together incorrectly..

thought maybe someone had ran into something like this before.. any ideas? could it be the m90 clicking somewhere?
