Default is it possible to supercharge it?

hey everyone im new to the forums and ahve looked here for help before and just decided to make a post to get teh answer i really want. well here it goes. so my question is i have a 1998 v6 mustang just about to roll onto 92k miles. its an automatic and im just looking to get more powerout of it. i have a cold air intake, underdrive pulleys, and an overdrive alternator pulley (because i have an amp system in the car). I am working on making it a dual exhaust with a x pipe. Now i really want to supercharge it, its been the main thing ive wanted to do so maybe you guys can help me out and tell me if 92k is too many miles for my motor and trans? or would it be possible to still throw on a supercharger, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Heres what you need to ask yourself:

how have you taken care of the car? does it run well, no missing?

allright. next, do a compression test.

is that all good?

then go ahead and SC it.

i just bought teh car at 91k from the original owner he said his wife had bene driving it so i doitn think its been beaten up on it has been cleaned up and i cna tell its been well maintained on maintenence, i dont have any missing on my gears or anything, and where would i go to get a compression test done at? never thought of s/c any car before this one so never looked into that lol. and any clue what teh max boost i should run on it would be? and if i pulled a s/c off a 4.2 supercoupe t-bird would that fit? friend wrecked his and might part out.

If you can't afford to supercharge your car then don't do it.

AH, I saw the word "cheap" getting tossed around. I'd recommend a split port swap over a supercharger at this stage.

well the only reason i had said cheap is cuz i came acroos a set up from a 95 supercoupe t-bird for 400 with everything including the headers and i was just unsure if id be able to swap that directly onto my mustang without worries of wrecking my engine or trans
