well when my cars open headers it sounds exactly like a v8.. i wish i could get something that doesn't change the tone of the exhaust just quiets it. AND DOESNT BLOW UP AFTER 5000 MILES

Yeah they sound much different on some V8's compared to our cars. I'm pretty sure back in like the 50's and 60's or around there glasspacks were really popular.
Trucks have totally different cam timing so they can get lots of low end torque, that's why it sounds like that.... plus it's a chevy motor, not a ford motor so it's not a good comparison anyway lol
