Yea I know what you mean, I was guna have too exhaust set ups and switch them out every two years for smog. I was thinking about having an x pipe with no cats and 2 flowmasters...for example...

what do you think?

I'm running mac l/ts, off road h(soon to be off road x pipe), and flow 40's. I listened to that green stang earlier and thought that I linked it for you but anyway that's a good sound..they say that a h pipe will give a deeper sound than a x pipe which is suppose to sound more exotic..

I have two friends with 98 v6 w/duals..one of them have an x w/flow 40 and all 4 cats..i like his sound(its kind of exotic but still a little aggressive)..the other friend has straight pipe(no x/h/y mid) duals with all 4 cats and flow 40s also and as his sounds like a air out bee down low and up high..
