Default cherry bomb glass pack

ok i have a 95 v6. i just put on cherry bomb glasspack dual exhaust. instead of gettin the pipes runnin to the rear bumper i had turn downs put on right after the muffler. i heard its not that good cause of the exhaust fumes but the guy doin it said that it wuldnt be a problem. soo im just asking. should i put on pipes or leave it the way it is?
