Default Stereo installation

I got a roadmasterusa vrcd400sdu used, and i bought a wireharness from walmart. The power harness fits but not the audio. My car has amp in the dash so i took it out and cut the speaker wire and tried to hook them up to the stereo. Music does not come out of the speakers it only makes this buzzing sound when i turn the volume all the way.

here are some pics:
THis is the stereo

You have to bypass the amps, or run an SNI-15 adapter to tap RCA's into the amp inputs. It's better to let a stereo shop do it because it's very easy to fry everything if you don't get it right.

They can fix the ires and they won;t have to test the speakers, it's easy when you've done it a few times, but the first time is a pain.

another easy way to wire up a new head unit (at least this is easier to me) is just run a whole new set of speaker wires.

one of those plugs is a amp integrator harness its the one in i think your third pict on the left side. i think its a a wire harness thats going to your amp and they sell a harness that plugs into that and you just tap those wires into your speaker wires and done. you dont have to bypass the amp in that

im taking it to the audio shop on Wednesday. He charges me $120 for installing stereo and bypass, is that a fair price?. He told me to buy the bypass harness but i all ready cut the speaker wires that go into the amp.
I still don't know why do you have to do a bypass. Does the speaker sound the same when it bypass the amp? Do you have to take the amp out, or the car still needs it?

the amps are there because basically the stock receiver does not make enough power. (in lamens terms)

when you buy a new head unit, the new unit usually has enough watts output to not need to use the stock amps at all.
