Default best v6 exhaust?

what brand makes the best performing/sounding catback dual exhaust for a v6 mustang? let me know what u think or tell me what u like about the type u have.

none, no bolt on catback for our cares really sounds good. Order yourself some flowmaster 40's or thrush welded series muffles if you want a cheaper option and have true duals fabbed up at an exhaust shop, should be under $300 total. Will sound much better than a ypipe catback.

that sounds like a good idea i dont have a whole lot of money to spend 300 sounds pretty sweet

No call some local shops and ask how much it will be. If you want them louder just dump the exhaust after the mufflers. It will cost next to nothing, but check if its legal first.

If you want to spend a little extra money, picking up MAC longtube headers would give it a better tone and more power.

yeah then you have to deal with an hpipe high flow cats longer 02 wires mils a tuner to makeup for the low end. It will cost close to 1,000 he said hes on a budget.

ya i am on a budget i like the idea of a shop making my exhaust with the flowmasters also i dont rele wana dump them cuz i rele like the look of dual exhaust coming out the back

Then pick yourself up some tips as well and have those welded on. Like I said call some shops tell them you've been quoted $200 for the full install and see what they say. 2 flowmaster 40's will be around $150 and two thrush welded series which I'm told sound very similar and good are $70 for 2 I think. Then maybe $50 for some good tips.
