Thanks for the help everyone. After talking it over with my Brother in Law and finding a 3.8 with 50,000 on it for $400, we have decided to swap the motor.

Eh, that depends on the car, and how confident you are in your diagnosis. One of these cars it's less work to swap the motor. Some cars it's easier to pull the heads. And then other cars, you have to pull the motor to get the heads off.
But with 50k on a new motor, you're probably better off than fixing your head gaskets with 160k.

I mainly work on fords or old school Mopar's, usually Challengers, and yes, "these cars" are definitely less work to pull motor(or motor and trans together). I did a head job on my old 95 I used to own, it's a ton of work by yourself, but at the time, I had more time than money and I was always working on some Dodge, Ford, or Toyota.
