V6 mustang with auto tranny has problems accelerating
Hi my car doesn't seem to accelerate right when i'm driving my car will be running at 2000 rpm's (for example) and then drop down to around 1700 or 1800 rpm's then continue to accelerate like it normally would and usually when i start my car doesn't seem to build rpm's as good as it use to. i've looked many places and haven't found any problems like this any suggestions?

mine does that too, everytime i start it for the first time of the day it idles around 1500 and then drops to 1000 then back up and it drops rmps when i drive, im hoping that its the speed sensor on the tranny, im getting it tommoro , ill tell u the outcome..
Well you drive a 95 and I am guessing you don't know the last time you have had the trans fluid/filter changed so again that would be the first thing to do. Along with a full tune up just for the hell of it (plugs, wires, cap, rotor(if 95 still had I don't remember)).
A tune shouldn't be needed to fix your issue but you would feel a difference bc you can change shift points around a little.
