Exclamation Heater only works above idel..help

I have a 2001 stock mustang. It has 80k on it and the heat blows cold air unless above ideal. Im not sure what it is...maybe a hose poped off but where i cant find anything wronge. The motor temp it dead center and still cold air till i give gas...starts getting warmer around 2k on tach. All positions of blower, floor, defrost, vent..any. What could this be?

Thermostat maybe? I'm really not sure, but I'd bet someone around here knows.

Sell the car. After doing so many heater cores in Mustangs I swore I'd just by pass it and sell the next one. LOL
