Taking off mustang side stripes

i have an 02 mustang and im looking at taking off my side stripes and my ford emblem on the back. This may seem like a dumb question but to take off the side stripes do you just peel them off then wax the hell where they were. Any methods for taking the ford emblem off?

I used a heat gun and just pealed the side stripes off, the rear for u can do the same with but be warned you have 2 holes under that one. Yes u will have to wax but should not be to bad.
