Hello my daughter 2000 Mustang is showing code p0114, can someone tell me where to start looking from easiest to fix to hardest to see if I can clear this code and fix, right now when she tries to excelerate car dosen't want to go, has to back off on throtle and feather it up to speed , not to good when entering a busy highway, also battery light comes on when this happens, kind of think this is just a side effect of what going on. replaced battery, was time to 10 yrs old long life, and pulled alternater and had checked just to make sure, was ok. Thank you in advance for any help. Steve

no its the one poked into the rubber pipe on the intake and they are only $15 best off replacing it its the one with IAT pointing to it. just unplug it and pull it out literally then just literally push the new one in (at autozone its called a "air charge sensor" part number SU2004)

p0441 indicates that a part of the EVAP control system is not fuctioning correctly. Could be anything from the gas cap, fuel lines, carbon canister, purge valve, and other hoses. The EVAP prevents the escape of fuel vapors from a vehicle's fuel system.

the first place to check is replace the gas cap

Ok tryed another know working gas cap same code yet, so where to next, is they any way to pin point which part is bad or do you have to go to the ford dealer to have them pull code and find out which part is bad. Has this been a problem that others have had ,and is it a know part that mainly goes bad in the EVAP control system? On the V6 Mustang 2000. Thank you again

did you clear the code after installing new gas cap?

the code doesn't specify what is bad just a general idea next one to check would probably be the carbon canister
