sry i had my bday party yay im 20... but not quite till the 18th. ok to maximize bass look on the amp for a bass gain or bass boost and turn that baby up, if there isn't one run back to the audio shop and grab a line driver and plug the rca cables that are in the amp into it and then run a set out of the line driver to the amp and it'll really make a difference. another thing is a capacitor will help too.

congrats on the almost 20. yea it has a bass bost switch on/off so ill flick that on. also i shouldnt be worried about cranking the gain up cuz its only a 300 watt amp and a 500 watt sub right? and what does the crossover have to do with?

yeha you can really crank that up all you want with that amp. with the rasp, thats what the cross over is for, a low pass crossover basicaly filters out any frequency over your set number, subs are only made to handle low frequencies so when things over 250-300 Hz get into it it doesnt sound right. so set the cross over to about 200

the cross over only has an off or lo setting =<. i was messing with it and i actually found that the rasp goes away with the cross over off! so iv got cross over off, bass boost on, and the gain at 10/11. i also ordered just now my remote bass controler! here are some pics of the car and a sound clip

sounds alot better in person i swear!! and yea i took the red "mustang" banner off the front window, didnt like it much.
