Actually, you don't "NEED" any of that other stuff for an S/C, that's all add ons for extra power, more daily maintenance, and head scratching on the tuners part, it's already bad enough working around just the S/C from time to time.
Honestly, I'd really like to see one of you M-112 guys on here convert over to a twin screw design and let's see the results.
As stated, turbos are good, but costly as freeking hell.
Superchargers are more expensive than turbos, especially a roots or scew type adapter. If you're willing to do the fab work a properly sized turbo can be bought lightly used for a couple hundred dollars. Fuel system upgrades will the same across the board. Much more cost effective IMO to turbocharge, not to mention you actually make decent power compared to.....the Heaton kits. non-intercooled forced induction for the lose
