I just don't get what the big deal is with the 5.0. Is it a numbers game with these cave-dwellers, who are stuck on old engine names?
The 2010 4.6 GT will be available from the factory with the supercharger option for the same price as a limited production 5.0 would be. I'd rather have this than an antique engine, thank you.

Ummmmm.........you DO realize the 5.0 we're all talking about is not the OLD 5.0.......right??? This is not Ford's old pushrod 302 making 215hp. This is an all new 32 valve quad cam 5.0 making around 400hp.........WITHOUT a supercharger. Think Mach 1 engine........only more badass.

And while I think a model equipped with this new motor will be more expensive than the current 4.6 car......it most certainly won't be more expensive than a 4.6 GT with the dealer installed supercharger option.
